1a1. Milkman continues his trek to Shalimar where he finds himself in a local drugstore conversing with the men of the small town who seem distained with the manner which Milkman is holding himself. The conversation takes a turn for the worse when one of the men begins to threaten Milkman. Should he stand up for himself and fight or try to diffuse the situation. 1a1a.
